Roles on the Project
Spatial and Exhibit Designer
As the spatial designer on the exhibit design team, Lili’s tasks included:
– Exhibit layout floor plans and test fits
– Experience journey maps
– 3D modeling and visualization
– Display case and fixture design, documentation, finish specification, and fabrication coordination
– ADA compliance oversight and inclusive design strategy implementation
– Cross-functional collaboration with brand, architecture, technology, and trade consultant teams
Physical Designer for Digital Experience Exhibits
As the physical designer for the Digital Experience Design team, Lili led the 3D modeling, design intent documentation, and fabrication/AV coordination for three digital experience exhibits at the museum:
– “Game Day”, an interactive, multimedia-enabled scaled replica of Ebbets Field featuring projection mapping and wide format digital canvas background.
– “Living Legacy”, an array of 42 tablets displaying interviews with people who embody Jackie Robinson’s legacy today.
– “Crossing the Color Line”, a video projection exhibit custom-fitted to specific wall sizes and locations.
3D Modeling & Visualization Lead
Lili led the 3D modeling and visualization for the space during the concept phases before hand-off to the project architects. Renderings were used to communicate look & feel and design changes to the client throughout the process, and served as placeholder website imagery for the museum during construction.
